Cheersport Australia knows the importance of fitness and skills development (tumbling, stunting, jumps, flexibility, strength, core stability, and power).
All Cheersport Australia programs will have fitness and tumbling segments 1 hour before their regular training session.
These programs are designed to keep our athletes up to date with the industry standards. For example if athletes are at level 1 they should be working toward or able to do cartwheels, round-offs, forward and backward roll etc. Stunting step-up drill, hanging drill, elevators, and show n go etc. Fitness push-ups, several abs exercises, squat jumps, calf raises, back extensions, splits, bridge etc.

The C2C (Cardio 2 Core) – is a cross training programs designed specifically for cheer athletes to strength their muscles, heart and lungs. The program develops more power, flexibility, speed, core stability, internal and external balance for tumbling, jumps, arm drill or motions and stunting.
NOTE: All C2C programs start with a great warm up and finish with relaxing warm down.
Our tumbling programs focus on the level in which the athlete is in e.g. level 1 learns forward rolls, cartwheels, round offs and lead up drills for level 2 tumbling, level 2 athletes learn standing back handsprings, front handsprings and lead up drill for level 3 etc,)
NOTE: All tumbling, jump and stunt programs do lead-up drills to keep athlete and coaches building confidence for the skills, enhances skill technique understanding and keep everyone safe.
