THE TOUCH (JUMP)
This week we talk about the touch? This jump is very elusive for many, but like all skills time, practice and breaking I down it can be achieved. Practice these drills, and remember always warm up first:
- Stretch your hamstring, hip flexor and quadriceps
- Practice your kicks to the front and side (side means slightly forward in front of ear)
- Sit on the ground in straddle so you understand how your legs should be in the air
- Practice straight jumps first get as high as you can, then practice toe touch.
- Have some hold a block or a piece of paper up and you jump and touch it with your toes (remember to point your whole foot)
- Practice twice a day for 20 minutes.
- Never give up, nothing achieve and done with perfection ever comes easy. IT’S UP TO YOU
